    Mount Stuart Trust - Community Engagement

    Mount Stuart Trust is a vital custodian of cultural and heritage preservation on the Isle of Bute. Recognising the crucial role of community engagement in sustaining their impact, the Mount Stuart Trustees sought a comprehensive Community Engagement Plan to strengthen relationships with local stakeholders and ensure their initiatives reflected the community's needs and aspirations.

    Crown Estate Scotland - Community Engagement

    As part of Crown Estate Scotland’s management of the Whitehill Estate in Midlothian, it commissioned a meaningful communication and engagement exercise to gather local insight, priorities, and aspirations. The findings will shape a Development Framework that reflects the community's and key stakeholders' views, helping to inform Crown Estate Scotland’s submission to the Midlothian Local Development Plan.

    Penicuik Estate - Community Engagement

    Penicuik Estate is a historic working estate with a long-standing commitment to conservation, education and public access. Recognising the evolving relationship between landowners and communities, the estate worked with Lucy Laidlaw Communication to deliver a structured and forward-looking Community Engagement Plan to build meaningful, lasting relationships with those who live, work and visit the area.

    Beam Suntory & Ardtalla Estate, Islay - Community Engagement

    Lucy Laidlaw Communication was appointed by Beam Suntory and Ardtalla Estates to lead community engagement for a complex and highly sensitive planning consultation process relating to peat harvesting on the island of Islay. The proposals centred on Glenmachrie Moss and Ballivicar Moss, two adjacent sites crucial to the continued production of peated malt for the island’s renowned Scotch whisky distilleries.
